Was curious about your farm's name, as I read all the Follyfoot books when I was a kid and was crazy about them. It seems as though you're definitely living up to the name, with kindness and good horsemanship as top priorities. Well done!
Thanks very much, Louise! I grew up in the 1970's reading the Follyfoot books and watching the TV series. I still have a couple of the books and plan to get the series as it is out on DVD now. I always said that if I was lucky enough to have my own horse farm that I would call it Follyfoot. I actually started taking in horse in need before Follyfoot came into official being. Mae and Elmo are the most recent but there was five before them. They have either gone on to greener pastures or are in fabulous homes.

Thanks for hooking me up with Laura Foxgord - the natural horsemanship course was so much fun and listening to her pearls of wisdom and funny stories of life lessons was so encouraging for a newbie such as myself. I could have done that course till midnight and still wouldnt have wanted to put Lily away! C u soon. Thanks again 4 being so understanding and patient with working with, and around, my health situation. Sometimes my body says NO when my feet are already working!?

Thank you so much for being so warm, considerate, caring, patient and for being the friendly lady that you are. Thank you for taking care of Mikey and all of your horses so well . I just want to say again how wonderful it is to see the horses looking so well (referring to Mae and Elmo the rescues)excellent rehab work Nicole. I will also have to try Olive Oil, I know how effective it is for our human skin and dry itchy scalp..
